Kelsey received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has her Master’s Degree from Arizona State University in Mental Health Counseling.  Kelsey is a licensed associate counselor currently working toward her professional license.  She has experience working with children and adults with training in ACT Therapy, Anxiety, and Active Parenting Programs.

Kelsey values the relationship with the client and strives to create a method for treatment that is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of the individuals she serves. She uses Cognitive Behavioral and ACT Therapy approaches to address unhealthy cognitions that impact one’s ability to behave in a values direction.

Kelsey has several years of experience working with children struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges and has worked extensively with children on the Autism Spectrum. She strongly believes in a family approach when working with children to enhance the healing process. She facilitates social skills groups, Active Parenting classes, and has experience facilitating DBT groups.

When working with adults, Kelsey uses an interpersonal style to understand their perspective and assist them in gaining insight to their personal patterns. With an integration of ACT and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she then helps the client move forward in a values directed manner.

Originally from South Dakota, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, golfing, and biking with her husband.  She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and new puppy.
