“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” — Desmond Tutu
Hi there,
I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out is a meaningful step, and my hope is that you feel welcomed, respected, and supported from the very start.
As a trauma therapist, working with individuals and couples navigating complex and developmental trauma, my approach is grounded in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), along with differentiation-based couples work. I’m drawn to the ways our adaptations, often formed in early relationships, continue to shape how we experience connection, agency, and ourselves. I focus less on what’s “wrong” and more on what’s intelligent and protective, creating space for greater awareness, integration, and choice.
This work is not something I hold only professionally; it’s a living, ongoing relationship in my own life. I’m continually humbled by how these patterns show up in real time: in relationship, in parenting, in the tension between doing and being. NARM has given me a way to meet these moments with more curiosity and less judgment, and to stay connected to what matters even when things feel full or fast. It’s from this place that I sit with others- not as someone who has it figured out, but as someone committed to staying in honest, compassionate relationship with the process of being human.
I bring together NARM®, Brainspotting, somatic awareness, and differentiation-based couples work. With an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy and specialization in trauma, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore patterns that feel stuck and reconnect with your deeper capacities.
Alongside my clinical work, I serve as the host of the Transforming Trauma podcast for the Complex Trauma Training Center (CTTC). This role is an extension of how I listen, how I stay curious, and how I remain in relationship with the evolving field of trauma work.
Hosting the podcast invites me into ongoing, in-depth conversations with clinicians, researchers, and practitioners who are deeply engaged in understanding trauma; not just as a set of symptoms, but as a lived, relational, and developmental experience. These conversations continually orient me back to what matters most: presence, complexity, humility, and respect for the adaptive intelligence of all of us as humans.
Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, trauma, grief, or a sense of disconnect from yourself, we’ll work together to create more clarity, freedom, and connection. My style is warm, honest, and direct. Sessions are available in-person and online. If you’re curious about working together, you’re welcome to book a 15-minute consultation to get a feel for the process.
When not with clients, you can find me on a walk with loved ones around my neighborhood, snuggling with cats, or camping somewhere in the pines or desert.
I hope to connect soon!
